Marco Yan is a Hong Kong-born poet. His poems have appeared in The Scores, Prairie Schooner, Whiskey Island, Cordite Poetry Review, Sixth Finch, Foothill, The Margins, Cha: an Asian Literary Journal, Third Coast, among other places.

He holds a BA degree in English Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the cross-genre MFA program at the University of Hong Kong, and he holds an MFA degree in Poetry from New York University.

He has taught composition and creative writing courses at New York University and the City University of Hong Kong. He currently resides in Hong Kong.
